The raves keep coming...
The Bamboo Resort was recognized this week by Superior Small Lodging for “Excellence in Housekeeping,” one of only two Fort Lauderdale-area properties making the cut.
The awards, handed out annually, reward "superior housekeeping standards, superb interior decor in an authentic and personalized hospitality environment."
"SSL’s standards in housekeeping highlight what really is a multi-faceted service," says Catherine Arthur, Executive Director of Superior Small Lodging. "It goes beyond requirements of sanitation and cleanliness to involve competitive analysis, rate structuring and overall improved marketing value of small lodgings."
In her remarks, Ms. Arthur said that 2005 was one of the most competitive years in awards history.

The
Bamboo Resort, a seven-unit guesthouse, is located
in a central, residential neighborhood, close
to Wilton Manors with its many gay bars and restaurants,
and is ten minutes by car from the beach. It represents
an exceptional value for the money. The new owners,
who took over in spring 2004, are busy sprucing
up the already-well-appointed property. All rooms
are beautifully decorated, clean, modern, and
smoke free, with AC, color/cable TV, VCR, dataport
voicemail telephone and refrigerator. A secluded
courtyard contains a beautiful pool, barbecue
and deck area, including a covered patio to protect
guests from Florida's scorching sun and occasional
rainstorms. The Bamboo Resort also provides an
in-house fitness room and spacious, comfortable
interior common room where guests can socialize,
play board games or watch TV.
